regarding design build and development services for your unfinished basement.

You can learn more about me, my ideas, and my work at a link on the same page.

Happy holidays and I look forward to working with you on your next or upcoming Dream project.

Sincerely,

Frank Hejazi, AIA

Thank you for your visit.

I have started a home improvement company to finish 10 basements at The Monticello in the coming 2012 year.  If you have an unfinished basement, you have an opportunity to customize your home with:
  • A Guest Suite with accommodations of a kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and living/dining spaces.
  • A Media Room with surround sound systems, or a Music Studio.
  • A Game Room, with ping-pong, pool and foosball tables.
  • A Hobby Shop, Home Office or an Exercise Room.
There dozens of other idea you can come up with to improve the value of your home and your lifestyle for years to come.

I would suggest one level of improvement which I would call: "Basic," to match the developer's finishes in quality and style, however I would assist in "Optional" customization of any particular room or area of your interest or choice, with added features such as a wall mural, upgraded lighting or wiring for Surround Sound.

With these in mind, I would like to ask you to consider me in for designing and building your Dream Basement project for you.  I would also like to encourage you to consider a Dream Garage project to take full advantage of your storage options in your garage by planning and designing your garage more efficiently.

My name is Frank Hejazi.  I have been working in the field of architecture since 1983.  My first job was a summer internship at AT&T in the facilities management department which set the tone for much more work in interior architecture and facilities management than I ever dreamed or wanted, not that I don’t have an interest in buildings because I do, but somehow working at the building and urban scale has eluded me until now.

One of the greatest opportunities that came along for me was my work at the facilities management of the Department Of Justice as a contractor for the US Attorneys.  I worked with a lot of folks online from my cubical without having to talk much on the phone or visit project sites which usually where all over the country.  My work also involved physical security design and planning and knowledge of doors and door hardware.

Early in 2008 DOJ made the decision of relocating to South Carolina which coincided with the illegal firings of the US Attorneys.  Contractors like me where not going to be relocated so I decided to try to go out on my own to learn to survive and to be independent.  I was compelled to push myself further than the conveniences my safe job offered working on 2 dimensional plans; to push myself in the direction of full design services and building designs.

Following is a brief overview of AIM’s
Management style and Project Delivery method...

Management:
Contemplating a remodeling project, construction complexities, nuances of financing, scheduling and management of time and material can seem like a daunting task, even for the experienced property or project manager or homeowner; unless it is something you do everyday on regular basis.

Renovations, remodeling and home improvement projects, understandably for some, are nothing but a big and expensive hassle to be postponed as long as realistically possible, as a potentially difficult undertaking which some fear could develop into an endless nightmare, if a builder hasn’t considered various aspects of the completion of your project, the adverse impact it may have on your lifestyle during construction and a life cycle cost and benefit analysis on your investment.  AIM provides a holistic approach to the improvements you desire, to resolve your construction concerns.

Most of our work consists of renovations, home improvements, remodeling and alike, requiring work within and around existing conditions.  We design, build and deliver based on your project’s budgeted time frame and costs.  Once we learn more about your project, we develop a scope of work; designate tasks, categories and steps necessary in getting your project done, then strictly adhere to these steps as the scope of your work and the time frame required.  Visit the FAQ link for more information or submit an inquiry.

Project Delivery:
Once a project manager is assigned to your project, their responsibility is to work with you on your requirements to then document them in drawings, material samples and product cut sheets, to then manage the project and the team.
